Also known a 'Kakio', this clematis will produce masses of large 15.0cm to 20.0cm, deep rose-pink blooms with a greyish-lavender central bar and a tuft of contrasting yellow anthers. An absolute stunner and flowering over and extended period in two waves from late-spring to early-autumn which are then followed by an attractive crop of ornamental seed heads. Its compact habit growing to around 2.4m in height make it ideal for containers and small gardens where it can be used as a feature.
